Film made for Light Industry’s “Crossroads: Tribute to Bruce Conner.” Bruce Conner, while not the first artist to work with found film, is probably the most influential found film collagist. His artistry with attention to the sculptural elements of the media as well as his often humorous approach to critiquing culture is an obvious influence on our work. I was grateful to have the opportunity to make a film in his honor. I managed to scrape this together with a pile of films down in the basement.
